This was a pain to set up. Kept getting “Not a valid JSON response” errors every time I tried to save or publish something, and searched for 3 days to find a solution. Turns out it was pretty simple: change the link structure, which forces the bugged .htaccess file to regenerate.

Where did I find this solution? Some strange site called Themeisle, buried on the 3rd page of Google results for me. Gotta love targeted search results.
